“La Piccola Locanda is not a hotel, they don’t have a front desk. The owner sends an email before check in date explaining this “Albergo diffuso accomodation concept” meaning they can place you anywhere, the check in time are only from 11:00 - 2:45 and 6 -11:00 pm. The owner left me the keys on top of a barell, the entrance to the building was like a storage, no elevator, I dragged my suitcase 5 stair flights, and I was alone in the whole building, very scary! I ended up staying somewhereelse!”

“Our accommodations in montepulciano was as wonderful as the area’s scenery. The place was clean, spacious and conveniently located to the old town for our party of four and Mery, our host, provided everything we could possibly need during our two night stay. She even offered to pick us up at the bus station when we arrived. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy our lodging and montepulciano’s charms.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Case Nucci. Riccardo is friendly, helpful and a great host. The location is perfect to visit Perugia, Assisi and other fabulous hill towns. The mattresses and bed linens were outstanding. Per government regulations (Ukraine war) there wasn’t any heat during our stay so the evenings were chilly. Making a fire was the only option, the wood was an extra charge every evening that that was unexpected. Kitchen essentials would have been appreciated. Overall score is……
