"To start you have to park a distance away and transport all your things across a makeshift bridge that is leaning to one side. You have to beal with roosters all over the place. The kitchen is in main level with minimal amenities and no ac.The upstairs was ok but the ac can only ho down to 70 and if you need anything from the kitchen you have to go outside and down stairs to get to it. Now onto the visit.I was notified a day or 2 before check in that there is a very bad smell in the area due to sargassum. We arrived and decided to try it out. The cleanercwas there and we could not go inside but the odor was bad. We looked for othef options and could not get a refund so 2 hrs later went inside. The smell was so bad that we had headaches and could not stand it after 30 min of being there and decided to leavr and message the owner. They were very helpful and said they would call vrbo to refund the moneyLater that night i called vrbo and they stated they will not refund anything because the owners stated complete opposite of wgat they said to us If i could i would give a negative 4 but i can only chose a obe star"

"The “tiny” house comes with a kitchen and an amazing patio, but it’s the property and location that makes this a 5 star stay. You’re close to El Hippie which was awesome and not that far from the main entrance. If you have questions the hosts can and will answer them. Also, they grow a number of tropical plants and freely let you take them (we got a load of starfruit and a perfect guava-just don’t pick their pineapples!! They are still maturing.) It also comes with some spectacular views of the mountains. Highly recommend."

"The property is very nice and clean, well-kept, and located high in the mountains with a peaceful, country feel. You can even see El Yunque from the balcony. However, I was disappointed with the kitchen setup. While it is advertised as having a kitchen, there were no pots, no microwave, and not even basic utensils like knives to spread butter or cut anything. I couldn’t even heat milk for coffee or boil water for tea. I’ve used VRBO many times across the U.S., and this is the first time I’ve encountered such a limited kitchen. It made the stay less convenient than expected."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable for 8 of us. The scenery is beautiful, really enjoyed the terrace space. The kids loved the pool. Only thing that was a little bothersome was that our group had 2 cars and there’s only 1 pass per community rules. Which is fine, but getting the second car in was a hassle. Security really take their job seriously in this community. Overall the stay itself was awesome! Thank you "
