"We had an excellent stay in a very cosy room on a walking distance to Pitigliano old town.
Cinzia took good care of us and we would love to go back sometime."

"The smaller, children, pool is further away and down many stairs. There are many comfortable seats by the main pool. I wish the main pool had a variation in depth.Breakfast is heavenly. All the staff we encountered were very friendly."

"We really loved our stay at Casale 1541! The family that runs the property is very helpful. The rooms are unique and well-equipped. The location is very close to the center of town and the lake. Really great restaurants in town too. Breakfast is also very nice."

"The pictures and some of the comments were on point. From my experience, the staff was nothing short of amazing. They literally went out of their way to make our says there memorable. Next time if I’m in the area, will definitely stop in even if it’s to say hi."

"So peaceful! The staff was amazing and thoughtful. We enjoyed wine made at the farm and a sampling of meats and cheeses outside our room and it was lovely! We loved our stay here- the walk to the hot springs was also beyond quiet. Delicious breakfast as well. Highly recommend! Thank you for a fabulous stay!"

We loved the farm stay and the dinner at the restaurant was excellent. We were a bit disappointed that the hot tub was not included and no massage available but it was a Sunday afternoon

Excellent property. The resort is located on what appears to be a farm or in a farm area. We stayed for 4 nights and loved nearly everything. The room was excellent, only complaint was the bed/pillows were a bit hard for our tastes. If you like a firm mattress it will be good. We did not eat at the restaurant for lunch or dinner so we cannot comment on the quality of the food. Breakfast was typical and high quality. The spa was nice as well. They have a hydromassage pool and a regular pool, dry...

It was a beautiful experience in a lovely part of the countryside. The natural volcanic spring was amazing! The only negative aspect of the experience was dealing with the day shift host. We were asking about the different ways to get to the natural spring falls and he was acting like we were wasting his time. A complete 180 from the woman who helped us on the evening, Francesca. She was lovely.

A special place—quiet, clean, and cozy. Best of all, are the amazing people in charge of the place, who were very attentive and always made sure that everything ran smoothly.

This place is beautiful and unique. My husband and I came for my husband's birthday to enjoy the area and the famous Saturnia Springs. The staff was so welcoming and sweet. They guided us through everything we could do in the area and helped us park in Terme di Saturnia, even giving us a discount on the spa. The hotel is a gorgeous, well-maintained building surrounded by vineyards and mountains. The views here are breathtaking. They include a delicious breakfast, and everything is made at home...

Very clean and very helpful staff. Located at the bottom of the town, so it's very convenient to get to the autostrada. Free and easily maneuverable parking. We just drove up to the Etruscan sites and base of the medieval part of Tarquinia, parked in the town lot and walked through the lovely tiny streets. Highly recommend Villa Tirrena if you are driving through Lazio or to Tuscany.

Excellent location and a beautiful, newly renovated apartment with modern amenities. The daily room service was an added bonus! The host was responsive and helpful throughout my stay. I had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend this place!

The best area to stay in Cellere is within the town center itself, particularly around the Piazza Sant'Agostino, as it offers the most convenient access to local amenities and a genuine experience of the town.
This central area is the heart of Cellere, characterized by its historic buildings, narrow cobblestone streets, and a relaxed pace of life. The Piazza Sant'Agostino, with the Collegiate Church of Sant'Agostino, serves as a focal point, often hosting local gatherings and providing a sense of community. The town center is compact and easily walkable, making it convenient to explore on foot.
Couples looking for a quiet and authentic Italian experience will find the town center ideal. It provides a peaceful retreat with opportunities to enjoy local cuisine at small restaurants and cafes, and to experience the rhythm of daily life in a traditional Italian town.
When is the best time to go to Cellere?
The best time to go to Cellere is during the shoulder seasons of late spring (April to early June) and early autumn (September to October).
These periods offer pleasant weather, with comfortable temperatures ideal for exploring the Viterbo region. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed experience when visiting local attractions or dining at restaurants. The countryside around Cellere is particularly picturesque during these times, with blooming flora in spring and autumnal colors in fall.
For couples seeking a tranquil and romantic getaway, these months provide the ideal setting. You can enjoy strolls through the historic center of Cellere, visit nearby medieval towns like Tuscania, or explore the natural beauty of Lake Bolsena without the intense summer heat or the larger tourist groups.
