“This stay was overall one of my family's favorites! The house was cozy and so so cute. Perfect for my family of 5, including three young children! Having everything I needed to cook/clean as normal and be able to relax and sit on the back porch and watch the kids play. The location is perfect for any outings desired. It's the perfect little piece of paradise!”

“Lake house was exactly as advertised. Location and pier was great. We caught lots of catfish and a few bass and barfish as well. We will be back.”

“This place definitely deserves a five-star rating across the board. The location is absolutely perfect, and the deck adds a nice touch to the overall experience. Our kids were mesmerized by the boats passing by, and we had an incredible time as a family. Despite the rain during our trip, we still managed to relax and enjoy quality time together. The space was more than enough for everyone, and our host was exceptional. We are definitely planning on staying here again next time we're in town,……

“Property was recently renovated very clean. Nice up-to-date. It was a very chilly weekend, so really just chilled inside, our son and daughter in law braved the chilly weather and tried to fish off boat house, but no luck. We truly enjoyed the view. Definitely plan on going back late spring early summer. Would love to take grandchildren there.”

“Everything was just as shown in photos and description. The home was spacious and just right for our family. We loved the screened in porch with air conditioning for the grandkids to have their own space. The owner was extremely helpful in communicating and making sure we were comfortable. The house was very clean and the the lake is beautiful.”

“The property is very unique in its style and layout. The interior of the house was very clean and orderly. The outdoor furnishings could use a little TLC. Several chairs were unusable due to deterioration of the webbing. Also, there was a hammock hanging that was also in unusable condition. Overall, however, we still did enjoy the place and our stay and would most probably rent again.”

“We rented for a small family reunion where we wanted to be able to enjoy a quiet gathering in a beautiful setting. This one was great. The house was everything we expected and the patio and view of cane lake was beautiful. The owner added his own touch with snacks, coffee pods, shampoo, dishwasher and laundry detergent and other stuff. Plenty of bath linens for a 3 night stay for 6 people. We couldn't have been more pleased with everything and would stay again.”

“A rustic country getaway. This was such a pleasure to be - quiet, sitting on the porch watching the birds and looking the beautiful scenery with the lake out front. The fishing right front yard. The greatest hospitality from our host. We could not have had a better week with quiet tranquility, fishing , and a wonder host in God’s country.”

“Your rental was perfect for our 4 person group. We love the location, the balconies and warf area were perfect for our cookouts and gathering. Our only complaint, which im sure is out of your control, is that the trash dump is not open in the most convenient hours so we ended up taking trash with us. Other than that we definitely plan to re-visit on our annual outing next may. The VRBO site would not allow me to book that far in advance so i'm hoping i can get this same, great place.”

“Stunning, spacious property in a great location. We were in town for a reunion and the house was perfect. Very nicely updated and way more room than expected. Close enough to downtown to walk or make the short drive. Host was clear with communication and check-in and check0out were a breeze. Highly highly recommend this property for any stay in Natchitoches, especially if you have a decent size group.”
