“We stayed here for 2 nights. It was well balanced between rustic and modern. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the fans. I didn't cook, but it looked stocked. A fun special touch was coffee from a local business in town. I was pleasantly surprised by a tea kettle with an assortment of teas. The enclosed front porch was perfect for reading a book and the couches were cozy. I'd stay here again.”

“The view of lake was great. We were in cabin 1, But the cabins are really run down and not very clean. Oven was filthy and stove top and sink had deep scratches and chunks of porcelain hunks gone leaving black spots. Faucets had corrosion , water had a really bad smell. I could go on but I should stop. We will never stay there again or suggest it to our friends. ”

“The location of this place was the only reason I gave 3 stars. We booked this place as the listing stated it slept 8-10 comfortably. We had a party of 8. 2 families of 4. The listing stated it had 3 bedrooms with a king bed in one room, 2 twin beds in another, and 2 queen beds in the 3rd. However, in the details of the description, the 3rd was the living room and the listing stated a queen pullout sofa and a queen blow up mattress. When we arrived, there was no pullout sofa, and 2 blow up……

“Cottage was lovely. Could have used direction for heat….. could not get it to come on. Also suggest having some hooks available in bedrooms and bath to hang up clothing items. Other than that the stay was good. ”
