“We booked this cabin during a trip to Chippewa to visit family in the area. While the place was small, it was perfect for my husband and I, and our Australian Shepherd. The view from the couch looked directly onto the lake, and the location was easy to find. There was one central AC unit, but it kept the place cool. “I’m a bit reluctant to leave this review based on previous reviews that were less than a rating of 10. The owner’s attitude seemed to be, “everyone else loved it so it must be a ‘you’ problem.” This property has such great potential but it seems neglected and some areas are rough around the edges, such as missing trim in some areas of the bathroom . “Excellent location between Frankenmuth and Birch Run. Adorable cottage cabin with farmhouse decor. Water has NO well water taste or smell. It ran clear quickly! A bit of toothpaste left behind on a towel and towels hanging on bar were damp when we arrived. The makeup rag was dirty, and makeup colors ran from the rag into the sink when I ran it under warm water to use it. The bedding was crisp, clean and comfortable though. Vrbo was fantastic to work with!”
