“We booked this cabin during a trip to Chippewa to visit family in the area. While the place was small, it was perfect for my husband and I, and our Australian Shepherd. The view from the couch looked directly onto the lake, and the location was easy to find. There was one central AC unit, but it kept the place cool. “I’m a bit reluctant to leave this review based on previous reviews that were less than a rating of 10. The owner’s attitude seemed to be, “everyone else loved it so it must be a ‘you’ problem.” This property has such great potential but it seems neglected and some areas are rough around the edges, such as missing trim in some areas of the bathroom . “Though the decor was nice the place didn't function well. The toilet gurgled, the kitchen sink drained extremely slow and the furniture was extremely uncomfortable. The couch cushion was so worn you didn't feel it, you felt the frame. The beds were hard. The fridge is small, like a dorm room fridge.
