“Cabin was super cozy and relaxing. Communication was very clear and all questions were answered quickly. Loved all of the outdoor seating options and cooking in the well stocked kitchen. My dog enjoyed running all over the property, exploring the paths and chasing birds.”

“This property offers the perfect getaway. The cabin is so lovely, clean, well-stocked and comfortable. We loved sitting on the beautiful deck, listening to birds and the breeze through the trees; walking the peaceful private path to the High Bridge Trail, and exploring Farmville’s charming nearby downtown. The recliners totally spoiled us for any future rental that does not offer so much comfy seating! The hosts thought of everything and were super responsive. We look forward to booking a longer……

“Great spot. Private, great fishing and swimming in the Rockfish River. Tons of wildlife. The cabin is great. Clean and everything works! John was a great host.”

“The views were amazing! Loved waking up and seeing the lake. We saw deer and a bald eagle. I got to kayak for the first time and be rowed around in the row boat by my husband (even tho they didn't have the proper oars, had to use the kayaks). They were all provided by the host. The only negative is the walk down to the lake. It's steep and what steps are there aren't very usable. Would stay here again.”
