"Check in begins @3pm, we arrive around 11 maybe 12 ish... Which was okay because we went across the street to the casino. room #216. bathroom door wouldn't close completely. refrigerator kept rocking. We noticed the support it was sitting on was dry rot. *Sunday morning we didn't request housekeeping, only clean towels and wash cloths. This was @ 9:30am. We were told that the towels were beginning was washed and would be placed in our room, once they were ready. 6pm still no towels, we had to go get them our selves from the front desk. Check out day- we loaded all luggage on a cot to pack up. As we walked pass the front desk, clerk asked ...are you all checking out? No we're packing up, then we'll eat breakfast before we check out. After breakfast we returned to the room, to do the usual. Check to be sure that we have everything and to use the bathroom. Well to our surprise housekeeping had already stripped the room. This was around 9:30-10:00 but check out isn't until 12pm and we hadn't checked out through the front desk.On the other hand...The area is very nice and pleasant. It's surrounded by a great variety of restaurants. Across the street for the casino. There is also a pond behind the hotel with a sidewalk around it (great view). Overall, we would stay again. It's a great spot for couples, family and/or business or pleasure trip. It's a 7/10 for us."

"We brought our horses up to ride in the Coldwater rec area. The property is also less than an hour from Navarre Beach, which we also enjoyed."

"Beautiful property, no noises around other than the chickens, ducks and turkeys. Great place to just kick back and relax, throw a fishing line out, read a book, watch the birds, whatever makes you happy to relax to. Highly recommend the place and we will be back."

"Great little cabin on a beautiful property, tucked back off the beaten path. The house has just about everything you need. If it doesn't, there are stores not too far away. We loved exploring the property with our dogs. Fishing was attempted, but more turtles than fish responded to the bait. It was great to sit in the back living space with morning coffee and just watch the animals in and around the pond start their day. We felt like we were perched in a tree house! Host Chris is very helpful and accessible. We are already planning a trip back to this cabin in the fall. Maybe we'll try the kayaks then."
