“Everything was clean and looked well maintained. The bathroom looked updated, the bed was comfortable. Only suggestion is to put a mirror in the main room outside of the bathroom.”

“This was one of the few rooms left in town for Madison Regatta 2026. Pretty standard for a pet friendly hotel, we were traveling without our dog, definitely in need of a massive remodel. Front desk had a left over Covid glass in place, so communication required asking for repeats at loud volumes coupled with several middle eastern accents it was frustrating to try and communicate. Enclosed pool was not vented nor air conditioned, it was stifling to even walk in the door. Lots of trash in……

“We were in town for the Regatta, so the hotel was crowded. Everything was clean, staff was friendly, especially at the breakfast area. The breakfast was a nice bonus with a waffle machine, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, muffins, yogurt and cereals.”

“We stayed at the Red Roof Inn Charlestown Indiana for 4 days. Highlights of the stay were that the room was clean and the location was convenient. The pool area seemed to be clean as well. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with some of the amenities. The VIP reward that I was to receive for booking through Expedia didnt happen. The front desk staff member did not "know anything about it". There were only 3 towels provided for our party of four. We were on an extended road trip and had booked a……

“A decent place to stay for the price. Convenient to dining options. The room was clean and well lit. Water pressure was fine. The mattresses were a bit soft for my liking. There was no hair dryer in the room. 😟 When staff cleans a room there should be a checklist of essentials they sign to indicate the room is ready. Having ear plugs supplied at the bedside should’ve been an early indicator of a noisy air conditioner. The staff is trying hard, but renovations are needed.”

“The cute little cottage was great. It was clean and pet friendly the doggy door and fenced in yard were a plus. Saw lots of birds and squirrels from the back porch. Had good amenities the cabinets were stocked with daily essentials. Check in was smooth along with check out. Would stay again. ”
