The room was great however we were moved to another guesthouse down the road supposedly due to some maintenance issue. This wasnt what we booked and had confirmed as a ground floor room as we ended up in the first floor of another building. Apart from that all was good.
Corinne was such a great help (and insanely strong hauling our suitcase up 2 flights of stairs). She gave us helpful recommendations and we got a 10% discount at a local restaurant for staying there. Breakfast was delicious and the room was comfy and clean. We would definitely stay again.
The Lansdowne was located about a 5’ walk from the heart of Bourton on the Water. The room was a good size, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. An enjoyable place to stay for a few days.

Fantastic place to stay .bourton on the water is a charming place to visit .Great people everywhere. The girls at lansdowne are Fantastic. Very helpful could not do enough for you...
Lovely and charming accommodation, warm and friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and perfect location. We had the most delightful experience at the Lansdowne and I would recommend highly to any travelers or couples seeking a Cotswolds getaway. Very easily accessible to public transportation, which is a plus.
The staff was absolutely amazing. When I was lost at midnight, I called Corinne and she talked me through step by step directions. The breakfast staff was absolutely incredible:friendly, fun, and super helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the porridge was the best I’ve ever had. If I could improve one thing, it would be that our bed was very hard, but that could be easily remedied with a pillow top mattress pad. This hotel was perfect for a stay in the Cotswolds!
(January Stay) Great location - 5 mins walk to the main square. Good, free parking spaces available. Nice room size. Amazing host - Corrinne was so lovely, genuinely friendly and kind!
Parking could be challenging at times as on main road into Bourton. Breakfast variety was good although the full English wasn't very warm when served. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, would return in the future.

Extraordinarily clean and tidy, friendly (well no actually) very very friendly staff. In a perfect spot for a stroll into town
We cannot say enough good things about our stay here! It was one of our favorite stays in all of our 25 years of travel! The staff were incredibly friendly and we loved being able to walk to everything. We are already planning a return trip!
We had a beautiful night stay at The Lansdowne. Easy to find, lovely guesthouse, good breakfast.
The staff made us feel welcome. Very good attention to detail, plus I had a requirement for soya milk and they delivered.
The host was welcoming and attentive. My vegetarian breakfast was tasty and very nice. Parking outside property. Room was clean and comfortable. Heat control tap was stiff and struggled to release a cooler temperature in the shower. Otherwise a lovely stay.
