"The house was amazing for our large group and Karen was an awesome host, making the weekend perfect. A cold front came in so we didn’t get to swim in the lake as much as we wanted, but the kids spent the time in the hot tub and heated pool.The boys managed to catch a few catfish at night and played pickleball in the afternoon. "We had a great time at this beautiful house and enjoyed the property overall. However, there were a few issues worth mentioning for future guests.The location pin on the VRBO listing was inaccurate, and when we asked about the closest boat ramp, we were directed to one about 10 minutes away, despite there being one next door. The house guide, which was tucked away in a drawer, contained helpful information about boat restrictions due to a low bridge that would have been great to receive before arrival. We also encountered a few maintenance issues: we found only three of the four listed hair dryers, the downstairs bathroom outlets were finicky, and the over displayed an error code that required resetting the breaker. Our biggest disappointment was the advertised seven-bedroom layout. The bunk areas did not have doors, and one was more of a pass-through space than a separate bedroom. We felt this was mis-leading, especially when planning sleeping arrangements for a large group. Overall, its a beautiful property with a lot to offer, and we had a wonderful time. Addressing these issues and providing more accurate information about the bedroom layout would make the experience even better for future guests."

We really appreciated the multiple casitas that allowed for some privacy for each part of our group.
