"Disappointing experience and not a property I would recommend. While the home was nicely decorated and appeared clean at first glance, serious concerns arose quickly. On the first night, my daughter woke up to a cockroach crawling on her in bed, and we encountered additional cockroaches in the home, which is unacceptable in a rental property.There were also other cleanliness concerns suggesting the property was not being thoroughly maintained. We chose not to raise every issue, including mold concerns, because after the initial response we did not feel comfortable bringing up additional problems.To be fair, the host did offer to have the property sprayed again, but when we did not respond immediately while attending the conference we traveled for, communication became rude and unprofessional. Our concerns were minimized, including being told cockroaches are just “a Texas thing,” which as lifelong Texans we found unreasonable. Being called names as paying guests was inappropriate, and the offer of only a one-night refund felt inadequate given we booked three nights and the issue began the first night.Between the pest issues, cleanliness concerns, and poor handling of legitimate complaints, this was a very disappointing stay. I would not stay here again or recommend this property."
