WORST HOTEL STAY WE HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!
Our weekend getaway at Days Inn was an absolute nightmare. We booked this stay hoping to enjoy a nice, romantic weekend away, but instead, we were left extremely disappointed and disgusted with the condition of the room.
The room was dirty, the floors were sticky, and the sheets were dirty. We actually had to go out and BUY cleaning supplies just to feel somewhat comfortable in the room. The bathroom had mold, which is completely unacceptable. Every time we moved on the bed, it made a loud squeaking noise. We brought this issue to the front desk's attention, and nothing was done about it.
To make matters worse, I even got stuck in the room because the door was difficult to open. That is not only frustrating but also a serious safety concern. The hotel is located next to a major road, so all we heard throughout the night was traffic passing by, making it nearly impossible to relax and enjoy our stay.
This was supposed to be a peaceful, romantic weekend away, and instead, it turned into one of the worst overnight experiences we have ever had. We were so fed up that we left at 8:00 a.m. rather than stay another minute.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families or couples looking for a comfortable, relaxing place to stay. Save yourself the frustration and spend the extra money at the hotel next door. Honestly, based on our experience, you would be better off sleeping in your car than wasting your money here.
