"Very clean and comfortable cabin with all the amenities you would need for a short vacation. The view from the front porch is stunning. It is very quiet at the cabin, but you are not far from downtown Lansing, and only about 25 minutes away from West Jefferson."

"Charming Historic Hotel The General Francis Marion is a great hotel with so much classic charm and history. The staff was friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. Our room was very clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable after a long day of travel. A solid, historic property that covers all the basics exceptionally well. Close to Grayson Highlands Hiking - We'd definitely stay here again!"

"This place was amazing! Everything you could possibly need was available, including makings for s'mores and fresh eggs from the resident chickens. The property was expansive, very clean, quiet, and beautiful. The hot tub on the deck was great for easing all the joys of hiking. And Kimberly was very responsive and helpful. We'll be back!"

"Property was clean. More importantly the room was clean. Room was large enough to fit a small play yard for 9 month old twin girls. I will stay at this property in the future. Workers manning the front desk were friendly and courteous. Plenty of parking and easy access to highway."
