Hidden gem in the middle of plenty of things to do. The room was perfect and we were close to the restaurant for breakfast. We could easily get a car to go anywhere in the area. The Tibetan influence of the area was very engaging. There is a restaurant near there that serves a yak stew that is the best. The pics are from local places. The staff was the most curious and helpful people I have encountered.

We went there for part of our one week trip to Guilin and Yangshuo area. There are lots of small hotels scattered around Yangshuo and that makes it difficult to choose. Finally, we choose Li River Resort because it is not in the city centre (the West Street) which is too busy for a relaxed trip whilst not very far away from places of action. The room was well appointed and had a scenic view of the mountains. The shower had hot water and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with all kinds of services available. The breakfast was tasty with a wide assortment of options. Good coffee machine with espresso. The area is quiet and secluded - I saw some beautiful birds in the nearby trees. I also tried food from their restaurant and it was cooked well.

Atlantis is way beyond my expectation. The rooms are super clean, grand all with exceptional ocean view. The best thing about the hotel is the service. Anything you ask for is delivered within 20 mins. Even the common areas are spotless. Every staff in the hotel are super nice. You can stop anyone and you will always get a nice smile. The fact that hotel includes the waterpark and aquarium makes this a super good deal to stay (worth at least half of the say). Food is more expensive by china...

Being a very difficult guest and a 100+ day a year Shangri la Hotel client and since the shangri a was sold out i had to book a different hotel for my short 2 days stay and i can tell you what a Gem. We had a lovely stay at the Sofitel Leeman in Sanya. The hotell was pretty full so we were swiftly upgraded to a suite which was very appreciated. The service was great and the entire resort was delightful, everything from the main building all the way to the beach, we were greeted by friendly staff and lush landscaping. The pool areas consisted of several pools with a different atmosphere, you will definitely find one you like.
