I booked a specific type room from Expedia. SOLELY because the photos showed a SEPARATE living room. I work remotely and need that separate work space while my husband sleeps. Got to the hotel and we were first put in a double queen suite. I went back down to the front desk and told them that was not the room i booked. He said they didnt have a that type room and wanted to know if i could just keep the room they gave me. I said no, i booked and paid for a specific type room. He smirked and said its all the same price. Then talked to his coworker in another language and handed me another key. Got up to the new room, and it was still not what i booked because apparently they don't even have that type room like they advertise on Expedia.
I reached out to Expedia who then reached out to the hotel because their website misrepresents what they actually offer. Hotel would not do anything to resolve the issue. Completely disappointed in Expedia AND Home2 Suites
