"The building is old and could use some renovations. But, the staff were excellent and eager to please. The place was clean, the bed was comfortable, the room was big, and it was very affordable. We will stay there again."

"Stayed here a few nights while visiting family and it was a great fit. It's an old store/community center that's been converted, and the history is the real deal — not some manufactured retro theme. There's a working 1960s jukebox, a pool table, and real old-school pinball machines. My kids had a blast.It sleeps 9, but there's table seating for over 40, so we hosted a family gathering while we were there. Worked perfectly — way better than cramming everyone into a hotel or somebody's living room.Place was decently clean and the kitchen is full-size, so we cooked real meals instead of eating out every night. With a family that adds up.Larry was easy to work with. Answered fast, clear check-in info, then left us to it.Duncan's small so you'll drive a bit for groceries. Not a dealbreaker. We'll definitely stay again next time we're visiting family in the area."

"Donnis is the most amazing hostess ever! There are no words that could ever describe her kindness & hospitality. We were coming thru with our family on our way to a close cousin's funeral and Donnis went out of her way to accommodate us. We could never thank her enough. The house was so clean & homey and had everything we needed for a good night's rest. We really enjoyed sitting outside watching the sunset and the millions of fireflies twinkling just above the grass while the children played in the yard after a long 12 hour day of driving!!"

"We really appreciated the fact that we could check in early and also the breakfast was great. Upon checking in, we were told that the room had a kitchen area with a large fridge, but no stove (which was fine - we weren't cooking anyways), but what was strange was there was no bathroom sink or mirror in the bathroom. To get ready in the morning you had to use the kitchen sink and the mirror in the room was about 3' feet away from the sink."
