Cochran Vacations from $400

This is an incredibly cool place to say (both literally and figuratively). My husband counted eight separate air conditioners on the roof, which makes sense when you consider this house was built during a time when there was no central AC and summers in Macon can be brutal. That being said, if you're someone who takes a chill, you would be advised to pack warm pajamas or some fuzzy socks. They offer extra blankets, though! This whole place is incredibly beautiful and steeped in history. I cannot recommend it enough.

Nice staff, very clean

The staff were friendly enough. The floor was nasty on the way to the elevator and inside the elevator. The room disgusting. The toilet seat is like sitting on a toilet at the beach and way too low. The shower had mold or mildew ALOT! The room felt moist like there was poor a/c (I'm from Florida so don't try to excuse that). The window was moldly and the wall was rotting near the top. The curtain was beyond dirty. I slept in my clothes. The breakfast was a total joke. No food just some fruit and staff laying around like there is nothing to do. NO LUGGAGE CARTS ANYWHERE TO BE FOUND. ONLY 1 ELEVATOR WORKING ONLY 1 ICE MACHINE ON THE THIRD FLOOR. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE YOU COULD GET SERIOUSLY SICK FROM ALL THE MOLD GROWING. Worst hotel experience ever. The only saving grace was the bed was comfortable. REALLY WANT A REFUND IT WAS TRULY THAT BAD ROOM 221. Oh yeah and there is no arcade room as advertised. LOL
