A 1960'S 4 plex simply updated on the Edge of Northgate. Upstairs unit (D) with balcony overlooking small backyard. An easy walk to the engineering north side of Texas A&M Campus One designated parking spot just to the right of the staircase.

Just on the edge of the Northgate Entertainment District.
Northgate is a mixed-use district located just north of Texas A&M University that features a combination of businesses, residences, churches, and entertainment. The heart of College Station entertainment, it is a vibrant part of the city known for its eclectic mix of restaurants, shops, and bars. In total, the district spans approximately 145 acres, bounded by Wellborn Road to the west, South College Avenue to the east, the College Station city limits to the north and University Drive to the south. The district is the home of the first Texas location for the regional fast food chain Freebirds World Burrito and the Dixie Chicken.

This is an older property, which is not a big deal; however, the house was very dirty. So much so that we ended up getting a hotel instead of staying here. Closer to what you would expect at a deer camp than a VRBO. It is probably ok for some college guys who are low budget crashing for the night, but not some place for the family.

Excellent property. Only reason for 4 on cleanliness is the fact that it is old. You call tell effort is made for a clean propery but I would call it old property clean - you just can't quite get that uber clean look of a new property. Beds were comfy and nice pillows which is a big deal for me. Love that there are a few spices, garbage bags, dish soap etc. Those things add up when you have to provide them at a property. On border of Texas A&M. Easy drive and Veo bike boundary comes up to the edge of the property. Neigborhood is a mix of older and new, smaller properties up to a new high rise condo going up 2 blocls away. Furnishings are basic but comfortable and I was pleased with my stay. Greg was a responsive owner.

I stayed at this property for an A&M parent weekend. It is close to Northgate but not in a safe area. I felt very nervous and unsafe staying there by myself. I had personal items, including cash, stolen from the property while I was not home. There was no apparent breakin which leads me to believe it was someone with a key. I contacted the owner right away. He basically said there was no proof and he was not responsible. Unfortunately there are no cameras on the property. I contacted VRBO and filed a report. VRBO said to make a police report, which I did. VRBO said a specialist team would be contacting me. I contacted VRBO two more times after that and was never contacted back by them. I am very disappointed in the way the property owner and VRBO handled this situation. Basically there was no resolution. I am writing this review so potential guests know they could find themselves in the same situation.

Rustic quiet place
Make sure expectation for that price is aligned. The property manger was wonderful in as quick to respond and told us about many places that we could visit that were kid friendly. We really appreciated that. The only thing was that it was kind of hot and the AC was not working. We reached out to the property manager who quickly responded but the problem was not solved. But we managed. It’s a great little area with many eateries. The property has a rustic look and if you do not mind the rustic look, it is perfect for the price. If you want, peace and quiet, this is the place. You don’t even realize that you have neighbors.

Great location that's a quick 10 minute walk to northside of campus & Northgate. It was exactly as described in the posting. I'm glad another reviewer mentioned the top step - it's an usually large step up, so be aware or be ready for bruised shins! As expected, it's in a mostly student-rented area, so there was quite a bit of noise & partying on Saturday night after the game , but that's sort of to be expected.
