“Country Gem was a wonderful place to stay while we visited Chattanooga. The house was clean. We didn’t do any cooking but the kitchen seemed to have all the pots and pans you needed to prepare meals. The beds were very comfortable. We were able to park both cars in front of the garage which made it easy to get in and out of the shared driveway. We had a problem trying to figure out how to adjust the thermostat but the host quickly responded to our request for help and walked us through it. The……

“Overall good! Super nice design of the house! It is completely upstairs (which is fine, but we have small kids and some guests would probably prefer to know that). The house has an aggressive curb to get into the driveway (so pull in VERY slowly). Definitely recommend a rubber curb ramp. Contrary to the listing though, toys/games and shampoo wasn’t provided. We liked it a lot and it was great for a getaway!”

“Booked our stay 5/12 for 9/26/25 check-in, received conf#, and verified the dates showed blocked out on VRBO calendar listing. We purposely rented 2 cabins from same owner for out of town nephew's wedding for 9 ppldogfood for 2 days.At check-in, discovered 1 of the cabins had been double-booked! Occupants stated they booked the prior week with owner's daughter, Rachel/their friend. Rachel took responsibility for the error/admitted fault/apologized, unsuccessfully tried to find another cabin, and……

“Perfect place for a lowkey birthday weekend. The local bar across the street was accessible and friendly. Ice cream around the corner. Deeply appreciated the stream enabled TVs throughout the house including the rooftop! The rooftop was perfect for card games and movies. Love the fridge and heater up there. Note: There IS very serious road noise in the front bedroom and living room and there are several noise machines throughout to help with it. The back bedroom is more quiet.”
