This motel is a hidden gem. My room was quiet, clean and roomy and the bed was excellent. It is in a safe part of the Springs area and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend.
This was a charming place to stay! The owner and his wife were very friendly and helpful. While this place isn’t fancy the room was really well appointed. A good shower. It was very clean. Price was great. We would stay there again.
We had a great time at rainbow lodge, the staff was very nice and polite and even helped when we didn’t understand something. The place is pretty clean and has a pretty nice feeling to it like scenery and hospitality. Definitely made the trip a lot easier for us and made us enjoy the experiences that we wanted like getting to our concert. Definitely would recommend to others
Worked well for the two of us. Price was right. Pool was refreshing — definitely full of kids — who were well mannered. We were close to Amanda’s Restaurant. Enjoyed our meal & margaritas there. We would stay again.
This property is conveniently located, clean and in good working order. It is a blast from the past motel with vintage furnishings and old school charm. The downsides: A/C was a bit loud, bathroom a bit small, and breakfast sparse. If this is not a problem for you, its a great place to stay! I'd likely return.
very friendly, great location and price, perfect for our visit to Manitou Springs!

The room was dated, but it was clean and the staff was very friendly. This is a more unique stay than the traditional hotel, so if you're up for something different then this is a nice place.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
A very old motel that hasn’t had updates in a very long time. From the outside and certain features inside can look rundown but it was exceptionally clean on the inside. The main issue I had was that there was a musty/pungent smell that came out of the AC every time it kicked on, and it actually woke me up a few times from said smell. I don’t know if the AC units even have filters but this one didn’t seem like it had any upkeep in a very long time - no idea if the other rooms had the same issue.
Owner/staff were polite and helpful, location is fantastic for nearby Colorado features like Pike’s Peak and Garden or the Gods. I’d love to see this place get some love and have a renovation/update that pays homage to the vintage vibes, and especially leans into the rainbow theme.
But full transparency the AC smell was enough to be a deterrent for me personally for future visits until/unless updated and cleaned.
Fantastic -- Okay if you have an issue with furniture being a bit dated, this isn't your place -- but all of the furniture was very comfortable - kitchen and bath were totally updated and I had a huge bedroom, living room, walk-in closet, kitchen and bath - quiet - secure -- wonderful stay! Great place to tuck away and yet be close to the amazing Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City, Incline -- you name it -- Thanks again.
Staff was accommodating and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking even for our visitors. Location is great and within all the fun stuff.
