“Experience could've been more professional”

“Room was pretty clean. Lots of just old set in stains everywhere. Hotel is old and shows it. We stayed one night and had an emergency and had to leave early. It was good for the one night and beds were very clean.”

“Chose this hotel because it had cheaper rates than others of similar class in the area. The hotel is in pretty good shape except the fitness room is closed (this was listed at the time of booking) and the pool closes at 8, which makes it difficult to use if you have day plans.They have a pool lift chair but it was broken (as is usually the case in these types of motels) so we couldn’t use the pool anyway, but it did not look clean and had a green tinge to it. “Caveat: This review pertains solely to my experience with hotel management. I made mistakes in booking my room and have to admit to those to be fair. Circumstances: I had to make a last minute business trip to Birmingham and tried to make a reservation for my stay on the drive. When I called to learn their late check in procedure, I was informed I didn't have a room booked. First mistake: I mistakenly had booked for the following Wednesday instead of that night. “I had to check out of a Wyndham hotel for several reasons. The representative at this hotel was so nice.”

“As expected. Comfortable, good for the night.”

“Very unkept as far as maintenance and cleanliness in my room. Light fixture in the room was non functioning and partially disassembled. Window had a lounge with significant stains. Hair on the pillow case. Strange odor in the room. Overall, had I been with my family and not alone needing a simple room to sleep overnight for a few hours, I would have never stayed in the room.”
