Everything was great. A great hotel for work travel!

When we arrived my mom went to check in. My daughter had to use the bathroom very badly so I took her in and asked where she could go. I went into the singular restroom and it stunk, wet paper towels were on the floor and the toilet was full of poop and toilet paper. I tried to flush it and it wouldn't work. Went back to ask if there was another restroom, went to that one and same situation. Got to the front to tell them, they didnt seem concerned at all. Then I hear from the back "the water is off right now. Sorry for the inconvenience." I asked why noone had called to inform us and they said they didnt know it was going to happen that it was the city doing some work and they had truned it off. Ok, but still, why didn't anyone call to inform us? Gave us the key to our room and when we got in and were checking things out there was thick dust on the bedside tables and even dust bunnies on the comforters like noone had been in that room in months. Went to check the water, nothing. When I called the front desk to ask again about the water the person didnt seem to care that it was an inconvenience at all. Just said it'll come back on when the city turns it on. So we walked into a stay with no water for who knows how long, an old dingy room that hadn't been cleaned, and staff that were not concerned about us having a decent stay. We left and went to stay elsewhere.
