Fun motel experience.

Great staff!! Rooms were clean & tidy. Very handy to many restaurants. We would definitely stay again & we do recommend it

The room was ok. They were actively remodeling rooms so are trying to improve the property. They do put a $100-$150 hold on your card for incidentals, which I was not aware of when booking, they message you the day before your stay. At arrival the office door was locked, had to call and wait for someone to come help you. Same if you need anyone from the office again, you call and they come. The wait for that was not long, I believe he was helping with remodeling and cleaning. The room was pretty large with a very comfortable bed, slept well! Tv was quite small, but you are at the coast so who cares. There is a parking space right in front of your room as well. Pet friendly it said on the instructions on the door. Pleasant stay, close to the ocean.

We had a waterfront cabin with a great view. The front desk staff are great and the property just starting selling breakfast with complimentary coffee. The couch does need to be replaced and the bed is not comfortable. We did observe a staff member having to run two homeless people off the property. There are a lot of homeless types walking up and down Charleston Highway so guests should be sure to secure items and lock vehicles Les nightly. Also, we noticed several long terms campers who don’t keep their areas tidy. It detracts from the overall beautiful setting.
