Amazing experience building friendships and meaningful conversations. It was everything I was hoping for.

While we didn't think this would be like a room at the Holiday Inn, we weren't prepared for the cute little room we got. The rooms are what used to be a RR station and have been upfitted with enough modern conveniences that you won't be disappointed - surprised, but not disappointed. Our room (and I assume the others are like this) was filled with gadgets, devices, and appliances that were vintage for the time the RR was operating and stopped there (think early 1900's). It was fun to try and figure out what these items were used for back in the day. They have WiFi, a refrigerator, a stove, and a microwave so you're not back in the 1900's yourself. It's an interesting mix of eclectic, nostalgic, and quaint. Very nice!

Happy to have found this hidden gem. Rooms were nicely equipped. The location is amazing. Woke up to see the sunrise over the lake. Highly recommend!

I was very disappointed with this hotel, especially considering the price. The room had a strong old cigarette smell that never went away, making it unpleasant to spend time in. Soundproofing was also very poor: we could clearly hear people in the room above us walking around and even using the bathroom, which made it difficult to relax or sleep. The room itself appeared poorly maintained. One of the bedside lamps was missing a light bulb. The air conditioning unit was incredibly loud whenever it turned on, making it nearly impossible to sleep comfortably. Overall, the hotel feels neglected and does not provide the level of comfort or quality you would expect for the amount it charges. There are much better options available at this price point. I would not stay here again.
