We might call these ulra posh "granny cottages" rather than "bungallows" Or, do you remember Channel 4s "Grand Designs" an architectural TV series? These "bungallows are sort of ultra posh modern "Grand Designs" "garden rooms". Really pleasant and comfortable. The high ceilings of the "bungallows" offer a really nice sofabed space. Our "Grand Designs" "bungallow" was, however, on a quiet dead-end road, not by a shimmering azure pool or a cute paving path between bungallows. But, being on the road actually gave us the feeling of being in a house and living on a very nice street. Which was very nice. The street runs - almost level - to the beach, around a corner. The sand isn't deep and soft but it is in a safe wide cove shape. I was delighted that my precious daughter wouldn't be swept away by ocean currents. The flightpath to the airport is high, so we didn't find the planes intrusive. We like the sense of connection that resorts near airports give. At the other side of the curved Playa del Castillo is a little "marina" with a FAB restaurant called, La Mar Salada, which had FABOTASTICO gambas al ajo, prawns in garlic. Extremely nice receptionists - including a lovely girl from Argentina. In summary, we loved our stay.

Das Apartment war super, hat auch von der Lage gut dort hingepasst. Klar, es kann nicht immer alles zu 100% passen können, aber immerhin 98% waren es. Hatten das Apartmentanlage vor zwei Jahren noch in der Bauphase gesehen, und letztes Jahr auf dem Portal gesehen und gleich für drei Wochen gebucht. Wir werden Wiederholungstäter 😊 Die Lage zu den Restaurants und Geschäften ist perfekt. Die Poolanlage wird mindestens einmal am Tag saubergemacht, man ist ja nicht immer in der Anlage.

This apartment is amazing. The other 3 looked equally amazing. Everything in for a fabulous stay. Wake up to sea views over the lagoons beach and playa la concha beach. The evenings clouded up so only got one sunset and it was quite a chilly wind but was mostly fine. There was a lot of building work but noise not too bad and it was only between 8.30 am and 5pm but not weekends . Úrsula was very nice and kept in touch and we didn’t arrive to village until nearly 10pm and she came to check us in. We have been staying in Cotillo for over 30 years and stayed in various places and this the best and will not hesitate to come back here. Thanks for a great stay
