The garden is perfect for relaxing & games room brought the family together for valuable social time. It is beside a busy A road, so not exactly quiet. So not ideal for a light sleeper. The lakes were not accessible on foot so a drive into St Neots, to the park, river, pubs, shops & cafes was ideal."

We stayed for a week which allowed us to both visit my son’s family and go on trips to Ely and Cambridge - as well as exploring Saffron Walden itself, to which this property is very central. "Overall the property is lovely, not fancy but very clean and well equiped. Our main issue was an error on your listing stating that 3rd bedroom was 2 beds..incorrect. The host solved the issue for us by providing a pull out bed. So all was good."

"The Potting Shed offered everything we could need for a relaxing break in Cambridgeshire. On arrival we were greeted by the owner who made us feel very welcome. The property is situated in stunning grounds adjacent to the river Great Ouse. Godmanchester is a charming village with several comfortable pubs and other amenities.
