The Days Inn by Wyndham in Covington was not up to the standards of other Days Inn facilities I’ve stayed at. It’s an old hotel that is somewhat run down and not particularly clean. The bottom of my white socks turned black from walking across the room only a few times without shoes. On the second day of my 4-day stay, the floor was apparently mopped with a dirty mop and was sticky and smelled bad for the remainder of my stay. My room wasn’t serviced on the 3rd day, I’m not sure why, The toilet paper and tissue in the room was the worst I’ve ever seen. I had to ask for toilet paper at the front desk because there wasn’t much to begin with and it wasn’t being replaced the two times the room was serviced. The towels are small, worn and stained. On the bright side, the room was inexpensive and the bed and pillows were comfortable so I was able to sleep well. Next time I’ll pay a little more to stay in a better hotel.

When i got to the hotel, the checking in process was very easy and the man behind the counter was very chatty. He was very nice. When i got to my room, although it was like any other standard room i had been in, the front door had been bashed in so that needed fixing and the entire room could have done with a jolly good paint as there were lots of chips taken out and in the bathroom it was the same down the door and walls. The shower would have been lovely except the temperature i wanted it at meant i only got a dribble as it was so close to the switch off point. The main light as you come.into the room was not working. Besides that, it was a pleasant stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, the TV had a good mix of channels, enjoyed having the fridge for keeping drinks cool and although i didn't use it, i liked having the microwave too.

Nice little motel and friendly workers

Very nice people that worked at the desk. The room service was nice and got what you needed. Quite little motel close to Covington Square we went for The Vampie Diaries and it was like 4 minutes from the square where TVD stuff is. I’ll be staying there again when we go back. It was convenient to stores and dining.

I was greeted by a very nice man when checking in! We made it very late and this was ok with the property! It was very quiet, we didn’t have towels in the room, but they did not hesitate when I asked for them! Very nice place and this was my second time visiting I am sure it won’t be my last!!

Check-in was smooth and easy. Area was quiet. Employees were nice and welcoming. Breakfast was that great, not many options. Room was abit outdated, and not very clean. We found a sticky froot loop on the phone, and the previous overnight peoples trash. Wasn't no big deal, luckily I brought chlorox wipes. Overall it was a good stay, my girls and I had a blast.

Comfortable beds but the rest was old and dirty

Room was in very poor condition, and was not clean. The bathroom sink was very dirty and even had pieces of someone's false eyalashes stuck to the wall. Bathroom door didn't shut or lock. The beds were newer and comfortable.
