The lower level unit was private, clean, and spacious, and I enjoyed the contemporary decor. The living area was spacious and included a large, comfy sofa in front of a TV with a wood stove to the side and a small table with stools where 2 could comfortably eat. “Salem Historic Downtown VRBO was exactly as described. It was close to downtown, and not far to walk or drive to eating locations. The three bedrooms, two bathrooms, desk room, TV room, laundry room, and kitchen, were all very clean. If we ever have a reason to go back to Salem, VA., this is the first place I would check to see if it would be available. A MUST RENT IF YOU'RE STAYING IN SALEM, VA.”

“Unit was clean and well stocked. Location was great in downtown with lots going on. That being said it should be noted there is street traffic noise as would be expected. Also very strick 9:00 pm quiet hour enforced. Units near by have tenants that live on property. ”

“The charming cottage in Troutville was perfect for our weekend stay. It is decorated so cute to match the farm feel of the chickens, goats and a very large turkey. It is comfortable and set in a very picturesque countryside. KIm, the host was very good at communication and anything we needed for our stay.”
