“The room was clean but the bedding had one stain on it other than that everything else was great”

“I recently celebrated my 65th birthday with a solo stay at Orient Beach Hotel, and it was everything I had hoped for. Keem at the front desk was personable and professional, Myriam, the General Manager, made me feel truly welcome, and the entire staff—from the evening front desk to housekeeping—were consistently warm, accommodating, and attentive. The hotel is quiet, comfortable, and perfectly located on Orient Beach, with great restaurants and a small grocery store within walking distance. I……

“Food not great”

“So the hotel standards other JW Marriotts I have stayed at. The staff are great. The Sargassum was terrible which made outside pool area unbearable. Of course they cannot help this but since the sargassum is not being hauled away the smell is awful! The property is very far from everything, since there is only one pool and not much else on the resort to do, it left a lot to be desired.”

“Every employee working at The Blue Sail hotel went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I had forgotten to bring an adapter to be able to charge my cell phone and they lent me one for the entire week. Chris, the chef, makes the most delicious veggie omelettes. I had such a wonderful time. I will be back next year!”

“honestly, an amazing day the room stayed clean, even with how unorganized we got the ladies always came to make sure we had a clean space throughout the staff was so helpful and friendly and nice. The pool was amazing with the view. I loved it every second of the hot tub was perfect and honestly, the hotel was amazing. Only problem. I did not like the sargassum on the beach, but that is a natural problem in the hotel that their best to keep it clean.”
