"We have stayed at Yosemite West at least 6 other times, booking through other listing agents. Never had any issues. We are always 100% satisfied and happy with everything.. Not so much this time through VRBO/Vacasa. #1. There is no phone in the unit. There are signs all over that tell you a number to call with issues, but that number is to an out of state place... not someone local to deal with anything.. AND - since there is no cell reception.. and no phone... the only way to deal with any...

"This place is in a perfect location in the park - approximately an hour drive from the entrance and a half hour drive to the valley. The unit was very clean and well stocked with towels and kitchen items. We were very surprised that there was no air conditioning (it wasn’t listed to have air conditioning, but we just assumed it would) and even in the cool evenings, we needed to leave the screen door open and have the fan at full speed to cool the loft. I can’t imagine being there in the summer...

Had basic amenities we needed to meal prep & an electric grill that was nice. The shower head is a little lower but possible to work with. The floors seemed like they could use a good scrubbing. Had the opportunity to see a black bear from the balcony above & it was so cool! We would stay hear again. A good deal for staying inside the park but...

"Loved our 4 night stay here. Well equipped self catering apartment with everything needed to cook full meals each night while watching for wildlife and looking up at the stars. We saw a large black bear in our first afternoon, fantastic! In August it was very warm overnight, and this can be uncomfortable with no AC, but having read the reviews we picked up cheap fans in Walmart, along with groceries and beers on the way through Fresno. "Perfect fit and location for our family trip to Yosemite. Having 2 bathrooms was a big plus. Beautiful sitting out on the deck enjoying food & drinks, and the grill was great to BBQ on. Plenty of room in the refrigerator and cabinets in the front room to accommodate the food and groceries we bought. Overall great experience!"

"This is a wonderful location to stay!! Right in the middle of Yosemite. The condo is a very nice studio, clean, well maintained. It would have gotten 5 stars for sure , except the mattress was terrible. It is just a cheapie , uncomfortable mattress. Skillets we’re non stick that were in very poor condition, need to be replaced. A minor investment in the mattress and kitchen ware would make such a difference. I would love to return here sometime soon to explore Yosemite even more, hope you can...

"Nice lived-in cabin for 4 to stay comfortably (max 4 because everyone has to share the same shower). Plenty of space for indoor and outdoor relaxation. Great location for accesssing Yosemite Valley or Mariposa Grove (about 35 minutes from each) without having to enter through the park entrance ranger station. This location allowed access to the park twice in the same day when we wanted to hike early, come home for a rest, and then return to Yosemite Valley in the evening."

"Before you book look at the pictures this is exactpy what the home looks like. Eclectic, roomy, clean , andna home full of collectibles. It may not be everyones taste but we enjoyed it. The location is great and the scenery cant be bougjt. Communication was great, internet probelms but that is more an issue with the area we had wifi problems other places in the park it just goes down periodically. Our family will definetly be back again some day."
