"After spending 1.5 hours outside the door, VRBO finally contacted the owner and he showed up and let us in. VRBO shouldn't assume that anyone can make calls in Italy. "Call the owner" -- gee, why didn't we think of that? The keybox is too complicated. The YouTube video that showed how to get in was inaccurate. Overall a giant pain in the butt just to get inside the apartment. The trash/recycle bins are placed beneath a row of cabinets. and it's almost impossible not to hit your head on them....
