Room clean up service was an issue

Location was nice and convent. But we had issues with the room cleaning service provided. On second day of stay room was not cleaned until 5:00 pm. Management stated they just had a number of rooms to clean. And we were not in the room all morning.

Cons: INTERNET!
Internet was .8- 1.1 mbps, about a 3rd of DSL. This is Dallas where its fiber to peoples homes. Not good for work or play. Great staff.

Not the standard we expected for Hyatt place

We arrived to check in at 5:30 pm (Check in time was 4pm) We were told that our room was not ready because they had several people call in and were short handed. We had intended on cleaning up and changing clothes before we went to supper after driving all day. We were not able to change so we went to a restaurant nearby. As it turnt out most of the places to eat (besides fast food) are higher end restaurants. We chose to go to Lawrys steakhouse and were told we could not eat there because we were wearing shorts. This could have been avoided if we could have checked into our room. The internet was so slow it would not work, there were no pillows in the room for the hide-a-bed (We had our 4 children with us and stayed in this room because it could accommodate 6 people) I went to the front desk and asked for pillows and was told they did not have any to give us. The closet in the room was so small you could not fit a suitcase in it (Important to have storage when you have so many people in a room). The breakfast in the morning was decent, but very slimmed down from the one we had in Austin. The hotel in general was not as well maintained. There was a ton of dirt under the couch (we could see once we opened the bed) The drywall around the elevators had huge chunks out from things hitting the walls. The tables in the dinning area were sticky and the chairs were stained.

Stayed here quickly to catch a flight out of Love Field. Room was clean and comfortable.
