The Rooster next door terrible starts crowing at 3:00 am and never stops parking is crazy you have to drag you luggage upstairs no coffee till 8:20 am I guess I am not a Hipster neighborhood scary you Judge❤️

Here's the deal; the hotel was excellent!!! Cool vibe and loved the room! The parking in the street made me a little nervous. Most importantly though, the reason I only rated the place as "ok" was because I woke up around 5 am in the morning to the sound of a rooster. i though I was going crazy. As the sun came up, there was indeed a rooster out my window. The view was extremely unsightly. it was the backyard to the neighbor full of chickens and roosters and poorly treated dogs and TRASH. I undetstand the hotel can not control , but the sleep conditions were unacceptable being woken up so early.

a unique boutique hotel in bishop arts district, that has so much to do. great vintage clothing boutiques and places to eat. hotel is quiet and the staff is friendly and available. highly recommend.

Everything was great. So beautiful. They were very helpful when we had to switch our room because the keypad wouldn’t lock. My only complaint, was the thin walls but that’s why they provided ear plugs, lol, I understand the building is older. Other than the that it was a great stay.

When you walk into The Madison, you feel transported to a different time. I felt like I arrived on a mystery movie set as I admired the dark academia vibe. The staff were awesomely helpful, nice, and made the stay enjoyable. My room was very comfortable.

Looks like part of their sprinkler system is not working. Curbside and plants on the driveway side are dead or dying. Opposite side of front entry is alive and well. Jheri on staff is an EXCEPTIONAL hostess!! I WILL RETURN and have recommended a friend to rent the entire hotel for an upcoming event she is planning.

This hotel was a dream! I got a code and didnt have to speak with anyone. The lady at the front desk was really nice. The atmosphere in the entire place is so relaxing and chill. Its the coolest/ cutest place I've stayed at in Dallas. Its perfect. My friend and I stayed since we were going to a concert in town!

The biggest highlight is the staff—they were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always eager to help. The hotel itself is well maintained and has a lot of charm. Being a historic property gives it a unique character that's hard to find in newer hotels. My only real complaint is the noise. The walls and doors don't do much to block sound, and I could hear almost everything happening in the hallway. I'm a light sleeper and really value a quiet room, so this made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Other than that, I had a great experience. If you appreciate historic hotels with personality and excellent service, this is a great choice. Just be aware that if you're sensitive to noise, you may want to request a room in a quieter location.
