“I loved the downstairs and the restaurant. I felt the rooms could use better comforters and decoration. It wouldn’t take much to upgrade them aesthetically. The music stage in front of the lake was not pleasant to look at, but it probably helps their business model.”

“While the rooms and furnishings are very nice, the bathrooms we not cleanly or updated. The night I stayed there, the power had gone off and there was no air conditioning and the no water. This could be a nice B&B but the outdoors need to be improved. For starters, they could remove the junk water heater from the front porch.”

“Finding a pet-friendly place is always difficult. Sprinkle in a single night’s stay on a holiday weekend near Cooperstown into the mix and it becomes impossible. HOWEVER…at KC’s…we stayed in a brand new room which was entirely spotless on a bed that gave us the best night of sleep in memory! The property is still under some construction, but the value here is really, really great!”
