"Check in was smooth and we had the cookies in the welcome bag! The room was tidy and the window backs onto the river behind. Breakfast grab bags were great for quick mornings before heading off on adventures. Fire pit both nights and got to meet other travellers there also. Was a great place to stay with rustic vibes! You definitely need a vehicle to get around in the area though there’s not a lot within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!"

"For me, this was a great find! I don't like glitz and glamour. The whole facility was quaint and charming. Lots of rustic touches making it a very comfortable and easygoing stay. The staff are very friendly, courteous and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with most, if not all, local produce and products. "

"A micro-burst thunderstorm killed the power with a long lead time to repair as we arrived. Mary (the manager) arranged very suitable accommodations in a nearby area with power. She transferred the Expedia funds to our new hotel before we could get to it, and we did not incur any additional funds. Mary did this while handling a multitude of other issues due to the storm. Get her a pay raise now. We went back a couple of days later for drinks and dinner. The bar and restaurant are excellent...

"What an interesting spot, short walk to the visitor center in the Chamber of Commerce and very convenient to all of shops and restaurants on Warren St. Hudson itself is a city in transition and headed in the right direction, but be aware that it is a place of great architectural beauty and scores of rundown properties.
