The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff were nice, but the rooms were rundown. Also, not their fault, but the arcade across the street was noisy until after 11 making it impossible to sleep before that. Overall it was not what I would have expected from a 4-Star hotel.

Hotel staff is rude and unfriendly to guests. Our room had a couple of very unpleasant maintenance issues (door would not lock, shower was clogged and other people’s hair was coming out of the drain) that were not addressed when we raised them. Great ancient site to explore on foot. Not to miss the ancient mountain spring water fountain that is still operating today. The fountain is next to the Castalia Source on the main road.
