“We were pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel is. Spacious room, comfy bed, clean, friendly staff, pool, free breakfast and gym. Our room had a mini kitchen, desk, couch bathroom, closet and king size bed.”

“Pros: Staff were nice. Near interstate. Gas station next store. Bed was comfortable. Air worked and water. Negatives: Outside was a bit run down with duck tape on window and doors beat in. Our door and window was fine. Couch arm had a sticky substance. Didn’t use the shower or sleep on sheets. I always bring sheets so once we found the sticky substance we just covered the bed. Not much of a breakfast. Milk, juice, waffle maker Some seedy characters that stayed there.”

I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms this time, and it’s a big step up—much fresher and more comfortable. While the property is still a work in progress, the staff are the ones who really make the stay worth it: The Front Desk: Extremely helpful and made the whole process smooth and welcoming. “Wonderful staff, always pleasant and helpful. Rooms are being cleaned only every other day ( looks like Marriott thing ) so if you stay 2 nights , your room won’t be cleaned. I think that at least towels should be exchanged without asking. Also beds should be made , garbage cans emptied, cups replaced etc . Water in the pool was cold , not heated , so it took some prayers to get in the water ( I swim evwry day and choose hotels with pools) . There was nice size TV in the room and my room, on……

“Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I did have an issue with billing. I thought I had booked a 3 night stay but apparently I had only booked 2 nights. After the 2nd night, we had been out most of the morning. When we returned, the person at the desk alerted us that we should have checked out by 11. She stated that she had tried to call us and was unsuccessful so she used our credit card on file to bill us another day. I was not told that the price……

“The breakfast was decent. I felt safe with parking. My room was ok except the top mattress seemed too large for the box spring mattress. It kept sliding. The microwave did not work.”

“The room smelled so bad of cigarette smoke. Walls stained. Shower curtain and walls yellow. The filters in the air conditioning are coated in huge lint balls. I don’t think they ever change them. This also contributes to the Horrific cigarette smell. All of our belongings ended up smelling like smoke. Absolutely disgusting. I would never stay here again.”
