Great hotel. Clean room and good location.

We found our stay and the Maxim to be beyond a 5⭐️ experience. Staff was friendly, attentive, and super helpful. Facilities were immaculate.. Can’t say enough good things about the Maxim.

Great room, spotlessly clean, fresh cup of hot tea brought to my room on arrival. Great little town square area of restaurants and pubs just a 2 minutes drive down the street. Would stay again with no hesitation.

Starland looks and probably is a remodeled Condo/AirBnb type development, so it has all the usual pluses and minuses that come with it. In other words, expect more of a rental unit type situation than either a hotel or motel. That being said, the remodeling was nicely done, the facilities are clean and secure, the beds are comfortable and best of all it is within a stone's throw of the Sylvia Park Mall. Excellent proximity to Westlake Girls High School where my wife was working, to the bus station - great transport to city and other areas, and to super eating/drinking places nearby. Easy to find from the motorway.

I absolutely loved this property it had the right amount of busy but calm/quiet charm in a safe suburb at the right times. Staff both front desk and back house excellent service provided. As a single female traveling alone as a lot of us are doing these days the parking arrangements are safe, simple and easy. 2 bed suite was perfect for our family of 4. Great views of the city. Awesome location and within minutes walking distance to many amenities: supermarket, cafes/restaurants, library, indoor entertainment centre, mall etc. Clean, comfortable, quiet, well resourced mini kitchen area and full sized fridge freezer. Washing and drying facilities in apartment. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend for other families.

Great location with spectacular views! Spotlessly clean and well appointed. On sunny days, the west bedroom gets rather warm but the fans helped! We loved this spot as a hub for our Auckland days.

The location with shops and restaurants were perfect and the train station a 1 min walk. The was very nice and up to a high standard. I had some friends who lived in nearby condos to check it out because if they have family coming for visit, it was a great place to put them up or if a large family, they move into this place. Exactly as shown in the photos. Clean and spacious. I loved the balcony for morning coffee and for evening dinners. We had an amazing view from the 10th floor. I loved the big kitchen. Two grocery stores and the beach very close by. We had the One plus one apartment.

Fantastic boutique hotel! We came from Philadelphia, USA, and have already decided we will be traveling the 8,700 miles to stay at the Convent Hotel again. The chapel room had a garden wall that made the room always smell like flowers. The staff were extremely kind, inclusive, and accommodating. The Ada restaurant had the best breakfast I’ve ever had, and the best dinners that we had in our 5 days in Auckland. Great accommodation. Cat welcomed us at the lobby and checked us in early as the room was already available. We also got free parking through Expedia VIP access. The 2 bedroom was very spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. The washer/dryer also worked perfectly.

I arrived after hours and the key retrieval was easy. During the stay the room was cleaned very well and the staff was always friendly and accomdating.

We arrive after hours from the airport, however check in was easily instructed, and there was a yellow bus that gave us transport for $8 per person. We were greeted with a lovely amenities basket, as well as clean utilities and beautifully prepared room.

The facility was fantastic, and the staff were even better. It was a very nice surprise. The location is perfect for anyone that wants to be just outside the traffic of Auckland, with a head-start to Hobbiton. The staff were exceedingly kind and helpful. They made it very simple to arrive in the middle of the night. They also went well out of their way to help us out of a jam that could have ruined our trip.

Selected "The Emerald Inn" via internet and it was everything and more than we expected. We spent a week there and it was just what we wanted and needed. The room was very clean and had more than what we expected - range, dishes, etc. It was within easy walking distance of a gorgeous beach, a fantastic restaurant - The Cafe and Bakery.
