“I absolutely love everything about this hotel. This is my second time coming here and when I return to Sao Miguel, this will be home. The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Ponta Delgada. There is valet parking available. The staff is very friendly, helpful and courteous. The hotel is magnificently beautiful and luxurious with its gold detail. The room is spotless as usual. They’ve done renovations and the pool is heated and there is 2 saunas stations which we absolutely adored. The……

“Breakfast was good and had plenty of variety albeit the same everyday. Spa was nice with sauna and steam. One complaint would be the indoor pool attached to spa would allow kids so it wasn’t ultra peaceful After a massage… Room nice with ocean view regularly cleaned.”

“This by far was the most beautiful 5 star Hotel l have visited!! There was nothing not to like about my visit at the wonderful hotel!!! The staff was amazing, the amenities were great, the Food was extremely good and there was not a bad experience to be had!! The room, OMG!! The view was incredible!!”

“Hotel was in a great location, right across from the Marina. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly and made out stay easier. If you have a car, street parking is very difficult to find. However, there is underground parking across the street which is convenient. Ask the hotel for a pass. We had a great stay and had time to enjoy the wellness centre. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“Nine Dots is a wonderful hotel! Well situated, easy to walk to attractions and restaurants, very close to the waterfront. The staff were outstanding, very helpful and welcoming, and gave us good restaurant recommendations. Housekeeping staff came around in the evenings to ensure our needs were met. Parking can be a bit tricky, but you're given a few options. Amazing breakfast buffet! Loved the artwork.”

“Love the quiet”

“The rooms were clean and front desk staff were helpful. My biggest complaint is breakfast. It didn't matter what time you got down there, there was never a clean table, replenishing food was very slow and only small amounts were brought out at a time. I think my biggest issue was that I would find hair (that was the same color) from the young girls working on some of the tops of where things like plates of cheese were. Although the young girls had their hair tied back they would be swinging……

“This is my favorite hotel to stay at when visiting Ponta Delgada. The location is perfect, as not only does it have an ocean/port view, but it is walkable to restaurants, shops, and historical sites. The staff are friendly and professional; and they speak English, which is helpful. The air-conditioned rooms are clean and spacious. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, and other amenities. You don't have to go far to eat breakfast, as it is located in the dining room on the main……

“Fantastic location. Amazing and seemingly enless choices for food very close. Hop on hop off bus office, 30 seconds from hotel. 10 euro cab ride from airport. My only complaint would be about other guests that insiston slamming doors, and that's not the hotels fault. Ideal place to stay for a week or even a couple of days for stopover.”

“The room was clean the staff very polite friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. The only thing I felt was missing and almost every hotel has inside the room was an iron. And parking every hotel I've been to offer free parking and this hotel was expensive in my opinion it should be included. But other than that was very good.”

“Das Hotel ist schön,hat einen schönen Garten mit Pool. Leider keine Sitzgelegenheiten weder am Pool noch im Garten. Abends war es komplett dunkel am Pool fanden wir sehr schade. Wir hatten die Standartzimmer in Erdgeschoss zum Innenhof. Diese Zimmer sind nicht zu empfehlen. Sie waren dunkel und ein unangenehmer modricher Geruch, unsere Sachen waren klamm. Wir fühlten uns nicht wohl.Man konnte sich auch nicht draußen aufhalten da nur ein Stuhl stand .Fenster konnte man auch nicht auf lassen wegen……

“Beautiful experience, felt like a spa from the moment we arrived. Relaxed atmosphere surrounded by nature. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Thermal pool amenities are perfect to relax after a day’s activities. Restaurant feels like you’re in a garden, and lots of healthy options. Comfortable rooms and quiet at night. Definitely worth exploring this part of the island. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back one day!”
