"The staff were very friendly and helpful, at check-in/check-out, breakfast and the bar. The room was well appointed and comfortable. I had stayed previously and they had various parties going on (it was over the Christmas period) and it was quite loud. The hotel again had parties on both nights I stayed this time, but it was actually quiet and I was able to sleep very well, so was very pleased about that. The only point I thought was a bit cheeky was automatically adding a 10% service charge at the bar. I don't mind service charge if there is table service - but when I'm walking up to the bar to be served like any old pub, an automatic service charge is somewhat taking the ...mickey."

"Excellent hotel. Great room, very comfortable. Superb Spa. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great stay. One minor thing that could be changed is the TV. There is no option to input an hdmi. (This is disabled). I know this may seem silly, but sometimes you just want to relax and chill with something on TV you want to watch. Having 'source' input enabled would allow you to watch your own device/program. The 'cast' function wasn't working either. I know you don't go away to watch TV, but when you have kids and don't get to watch much other than their shows, it's nice to have the option to just relax. If the streaming apps were even on the TV, you could login yourself. That would be an option. Like I said, minor point. Love this hotel. Can't wait to go back!"
