“Comfortable cabin, tastefully decorated. It's in a great location, close to all the good things that Windereer has to offer. The only problem we had was finding the cabin. Directions were not precise. It would have been helpful if we had the name of the resort in our directions. "General directions: White Cross Bay Park and Marina" got us to the entrance to a large complex of cabins. The name "Parkdean Resorts" was not mentioned. We asked for help finding Lodge 9 Troutbeck at the entrance lodge....

“My husband and I felt at home from the very first moment. We were impressed by the beautiful accommodation. Everything is lovingly designed and tastefully furnished. The house has a very homely atmosphere. The bathroom is one of the nicest we have experienced and we have never been lucky enough to have breakfast in a conservatory while watching so many birds, which was really touching. “Unfortunately our booked apartment accommodation was unavailable due to a gas leak. However, we were moved to a nice double room and given free breakfast to make up for this. We were also offered 50 % of dinner but the available dining slots were extremely limited so couldn't use that. It was a very comfy hotel, with a great shower, a pleasant mile walk to Keswick. I'd definitely stay again”

“Lovely stay despite the weather. Our second stay here and it's always good to know you have the pool as a back up plan to entertain the children if the weather is poor. Great walks from the front door. Comfy beds. Idyllic location.”

“We had a lovely one night stay. We were warmly greeted and our room was spacious, up quite a few stairs so beware if you have heavy cases. We enjoyed a swim in the pool and used the hot tub. A well equipped gym was also available. The pool was very clean and a pleasant temperature. These facilities were all included in the room price but there is a limited timetable when you can use the pool due to lesson and member sessions. We ate dinner at the hotel which was very tasty and well presented....

“We stayed in one of their 2 Viken lodges. It was huge and easily big enough to accommodate all of us with loads of space for kids to run about and explore. Floor to ceiling Windows and and a gabled roof gave stunning views down the valley to the estuary from both floors. The accommodation was modern and stylish and even had its own sauna. The onsite pool was free to use and warm and clean, a good size. Slight hiccup at check in was sorted out well and we were allowed to stay an extra night in...
