"A lovely rural location very quiet and charming hosts. A car is essential and there is a nearby lake Saint-Pardoux with numerous activities. Late check-in at 6.00pm made the first day challenging. Hosts Louise and James were fantastic and very helpful."

"Martine the host was there to greet us on arrival and this was late at night. The property is as advertised and is what you would expect from a house this age. The pool was great being heated. Total privacy around us. Martine also supplied some food and drink on arrival as it was so late which was a lovely thought. Only downside for us was that the village has no shops so any provisions you need to travel 4km where there is a very good supermarket."
