“If you wish to stay on a lovely small houseboat in the beautiful turquoise water of a quiet island this is it. The resort restaurant is a two minute walk with great Bahamian cuisine. Fresh fish and other choices. The continental breakfast is truly a full fresh breakfast. Everyone knows you and wants to help you. There are fishing tours readily available and we spent a good Part of the week hiking about and lying on the empty beaches. Lots of sailboat cruisers around to chat with and other areas……

“The stay was a 4/5. There were a couple bugs found in the kitchen after a couple of days of stay. The amenities were well-shower was nice but pressure and hot water are not the best. The staff on property is very accommodating and helpful, quick to respond which was appreciated. Location is far walking distance from shops and dining unless you rent a car and taxis aren't cheap. “The cottages are equipped with everything you will need. The hosts are amazing! The cottages are close enough to everything, but far enough away that you feel like you’re out there by yourself! The cottages are only about a 5 minute drive into Georgetown. We would stay here again!”

“We loved the place and the location — absolutely beautiful. The convenience store and restaurants are about 1 km away on foot. The beach is incredibly beautiful. The only downside: the host’s employee was supposed to pick us up to take us to the airport on our departure day, but never showed up. Fortunately, two girls passed by and offered us a ride. Otherwise, we would have missed our flight. But aside from that, everything was perfect!”

“On arrival I thought the property was very tired looking (peeling paint, shrubs uncared for). Inside was not very clean as we found hairs on the shower drain.and we were unable to see out the windows. Both the TV and air conditioning had to be repaired. No seating on the outside that was comfortable. I will not recommend it ”

“We had the most incredible stay at The Beach Blanket House in Exuma! It was absolutely perfect for our group — two families traveling together — with plenty of space, comfort, and charm. The layout was ideal for both privacy and together time, and everything was so thoughtfully arranged and well-stocked.One of the best parts was how close we were to the ocean — just a short, easy walk away! The beach was stunning, peaceful, and never crowded, making it feel like our own little slice of paradise.……
