"Our stay at Yala Safari Camping was absolutely amazing! The staff greeted us at the meeting point outside the park and organized a private ride to the glamping tents. When we arrived there was a home cooked Sri Lankan lunch waiting for us. Our room was very clean, air conditioned and equipped with everything we could need. "We stayed here for 3 nights and it was incredible. The room was spacious and we got a room overlooking the sea, which was fantastic. It was clean and cozy, and very quiet and peaceful at night.
Rosemary, our front desk host was also lovely. She always had a little chat with us during breakfast each morning.
The villa is right in the middle of Tangalle, and we made a few day trips from there, each around an hour or more away. Even so, it felt really nice coming back to Ziba after a day out...

"Our stay at the Lankavatara was perfect. The location was idyllic and perfect for a relaxing, quiet getaway with a long stretch of stunning beach that we more or less had to ourselves. The staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly. The food was excellent with a good menu of local dishes and other choices. For our first time visiting Sri Lanka, we had one of the best holidays ever!!"

Beautiful setting and location. This place is fantastic with a relaxing atmosphere, great service but not overdone, with a sense that you are more of a guest at a home stay. The food is really great and they will help you and your partner celebrate a birthday or other event, but not a place to go and party down if that’s what you want.

A delightful bit of "glamping" right next to the treasure of Yala Park. The "rooms" are comfortable and even air conditioned. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast served on a raised tower overlooking the park.

Very professional staff, incredible location near the entrance to Yala National Park. The staffs English could be improved upon but the staff were very attentive, warm and helpful.
The room we had was incredible. Very large with all the amenties you could expect. The small private pool was nice but cold and not really used.
The food at the restaurant was well prepared and reasonably priced. They have both an international food and local Sri Lankan menu to choose from.
We look forward to...

Outstanding small villa recently renovated and styled in a very tasteful and relaxing design. We loved it. Communication via WhatsApp with the owner’s daughter was prompt, efficient and with excellent English. She organised our safari, which went smoothly (and the driver was excellent).

Really nice hotel with really nice people in a really nice location. No complaints, very happy with the service. Everyone was very kind and eager to make our stay enjoyable. What makes or breaks this hotel is location: if you are happy to stay at the hotel and relax in a quiet peaceful setting, then this hotel is for you. If you’re hoping to do some exploring, this place is a bit out of the way.

We stayed here for a few days to go to Yala National Park and Hotel Elephant Eye was a great location for taking a SAFARI Tour. The owner is very friendly and the staff are very hardworking. The property is very well maintained. Room was clean and comfortable. We had breakfast in the restaurant. Easy walk or Tuk tuk to town for restaurants and grocery stores.

Loved it so much that we extended our stay 3 times. It’s a big property with only 4 chalets. We stayed first in the cheapest, which was a good room. Then we moved to the most expensive one facing the ocean because of the lovely terrace. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Service was very personalized. The best of our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. The meals weren’t super cheap but oh so good. We ate like kings every morning and the evening meals we had there were huge and some of the best we had during...

We had a wonderful stay at this property. I cannot think of anything we did not like. The location is beautiful, the room was fantastic, the food amazing (quality, variety and presentation), and the staff kind, professional, and efficient. We were welcomed and sent on our way by Dilshan. All waiters at the restaurant were wonderful but we would especially like to acknowledge the service of Chinthaka.
