What a gem this hotel is, the spa treatments are fab and even though we didn't pay for meals to be included we have eaten most of our meals here, lovely!! "Honesty probably the best beach resort we have ever stayed at. The place is small and intimate; literally right on the beach. Such a relaxing environment. The staff are very friendly and personable. The food at restaurant was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka… and very reasonable prices for the quality. The sunsets on the beach were amazing. It’s a quiet area, with not much to do but chill and relax! Spend 4 or 5 days here and you will forget all your worries in life! Highly highly recommend...

"We really enjoyed our stay in the lagoon paradise resort and even decided to stay one day longer than initially planned. You can enjoy the breakfast (as well as dinner) in the nice beach restaurant with a great view. We booked a cabana which was located near the swimming pool. We would definitely recommend the hotel to anybody who visits Tangalle! Special thanks also to the staff (especially Weerasena & Thisara) who were more than welcoming."

"What can I say about the best 4 nights/ 5 day stay at the stunning Uga Prāva? Impeccable, luxurious, relaxed, elegant, extremely friendly staff (Prem is one wonderful butler), delicious food. The attention to detail is on- point, everything from the seamlessly understated decor, to the gorgeous infinity pool, gardens, view out over the Indian Ocean, quiet, seriously comfortable suites, .. It starts with coffee a local fruit plate, a fruit smoothie, eggs and toast, then bananna crepes. Lively. Our room was lively with canopy beds and amazing views. "From the moment we arrived to leaving we felt like royality. The hospitality of ALL the staff was outstanding! We stayed 7 nights here and we didnt want to leave… the staff & owners just take time for you, full of smiles and will do absolutely anything for you! Its the best hospitality we have ever received and we have been to many countries! The food was perfection! I dont think ive ever had such beautiful hotel breakfast! Our room was stunning! And the setting for this hotel is just WOW! Definitely a jungle vibe! These owners are so lovely, 2 dutch guys who clearly look after their staff and guests! The chef just amazing too who often comes out and asks how your food was. It was my husbands 50th birthday whilst we were there and they made such a special effort for him. For valentine’s meal, each guest could choose a fish which they caught that day & it was beautifully cooked! The guys on reception helped us with everything!! This hotel is uniquely beautifully built, but has the best service ever! Thank you we will be back ❤️"
