"Fabulous location, well appointed large room with heated bathroom floor. So good to be near trains and buses. Great Japanese restaurant 50m away and cosy & classy bistro bestick just 200m away. Handy to pedestrian street and Gamla Stan old town. Could not have found a better tourist hotel. Highly recommend m."

"We took the Arlanda Express Train directly from the Airport. The hotel is literally outside the door of the station. Unlike many cities Stockholms Station area is very clean and safe. We managed to get into our room early. Room was very clean. We walked to the old town and shopping district very easily and took a day trip by train to Uppsala. The hotel staff were very helpful with recommendations on things to do and transportation hints. Breakfast was incredible - great selection of hot and gold items. Would definitely stay again. "

Room was super cool and stylish--comfortable, clean, and plenty of amenities as well. Lots of things to do around the hotel--walkable or public transport-accessible to everything. The hotel has events like bike rides and runs too--we didn't do these, but was great to have the options. "

"Great experience! I was worried about a hotel room without windows, but it was spacious and quite comfortable, and the common spaces in the hotel had lots of natural light. Everything was clean and convenient. I would definitely stay here again! "

"I loved our stay at Hotel Rival. We traveled Scandinavia for over 2 weeks and this was my favorite hotel out of all the ones we stayed at. The room was spacious and the bed comfy. We returned to our room after our day sightseeing with turn down service and sparkling water on the bed stand. The breakfast was delicious and had made to order choices as well as a full buffet. It also had AC which is not always available at Scandinavian hotels. We rented bikes from the hotel and biked all around Stockholm. Thank you Hotel Rival for a wonderful 4 night stay! "

"Great hotel. Very clean. Central to shops and station. The only negative was that we weren’t told we had to make a reservation for breakfast. The restaurant was full but the wonderful waitress kindly accommodated us - we sat at the bar instead. Not ideal but fine. The breakfast selection was excellent."

"We stayed at the Marriott for one week on the occasion of the wedding of our son. Service was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Our room was clean comfortable and spacious containing everything that we need. Breakfast was excellent with an array of food catering for everyone’s taste. The only disappointment was that you had to pay extra if you wanted a fried egg. We had dinner in the restaurant on two occasions which was very good and reasonably priced for Stockholm. The staff were very good and attentive. We would definitely stay here again."

"First visit to Stockholm So glad i chose the historic Freys hotel Ideally located for fast link to airport on Arlanda express train Excellent location for exploring Gamla Stan, historical attractions public transport, walks by the water. Shopping malls, restaurants and lots of little city gardens, for cooler shaded breaks. The hotel staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. My room and facilities were clean, comfortable, quiet and safe. My breakfast was included and it was amazing with great choice, and although no real veiws in it's side street location, it was still pleasant to be able to choose to have an outside table. I purchased the little teddy bear (it's a nice touch that they place one in every room) as the money goes to charity 😊 I highly recommend Freys and hope to return in the future-- 5* in my opinion "
