"We mentioned it would be our anniversary while we were staying here, and they put us in a wonderful room on the top floor, with “kissing swan” towels and fake rose petals and chocolates on the bed - really above and beyond! Huge picture window with a fabulous view of the city, spacious bedroom and bathroom, comfortable bed (#1criteria), plenty of hot water (#2 criteria), excellent breakfast, nice little bar, very nice lounge area complete with card and board games. Location was ideal, right in the heart of Canterbury, a very walkable small city. Lots of pedestrian-only streets, lots of shops, restaurants and pubs, some very cool old buildings, a huge cathedral, and an old city wall. Lots of charm and history here, and two train stations nearby - easy to London and easy to Dover, an excellent day trip. We spent three weeks in the UK and this was the best place we stayed - practically perfect!"

"I stayed for business purposes, the staff member Becky was exceptional, her customer service skills is second to none, I was delayed coming down for breakfast due to a meeting and only had a few minutes remaining I asked for the vegetarian option despite it taking a few minutes to prepare she still obliged. I also witnessed the following day an irate customer who was not being reasonable at and and quite rude frankly despite Becky offering to still cater to the customer despite the customer being late and missing the breakfast drink. Very well handled shows exceptional management qualities as a business owner who is well versed in the area of identifying excellence in leadership. Will definitely be returning and have already recommended to my network due to my wonderful experience. Well done Becky!"

"My wife & I were only there for one night, but we were happy with this hotel. The price was very fair. The staff we dealt with went above and beyond in their customer service. It was a very nice, clean hotel close to a lot of coffee shops, restaurants and more. We were able to park in their lot behind the hotel which had plenty of spaces. It was a bit loud at times for hallway and elevator noise, but overall it is a good hotel and we'd stay there again."

"Have stayed at this hotel before, staff are friendly, gym & pool are both very good quality, restaurant food was very good, breakfast was also nice, the rooms are beginning to need a bit of a refresh, water was not very hot at all, we had several rooms booked all had the same problem with the water. We were attending a party at the hotel the buffet was excellent "
