“The property itself had screws holding the window up and when i complained to the lady she said all the windows were like this which was a lie and when asked the hotel receptionist if they offered complimentary water she said no because i booked it through expedia … I was then told by another member of staff that all member were given complimentary water.The pool section the sealing was peeling off. The receptionist was very leery for some reason and i don’t know why i paid for the hotel i am……

“Friendly and polite staff. Hotel located in town center with lots of shops and a variety of restaurants nearby. The on-site car park is first-come-first serve and becomes full early. Be prepared to park in off-site paid car park if you drive.”

“Great proximity to the track, lots of parking. Staff were really nice and helpful and the gym was decent. Food in the restaurant was good too. The property is very tired, lacks maintenance and basic amenities like water in the rooms. My room ceiling had exposed insulation, there was cutlery on the floor and the shower drain smelt terrible. The property could be great, but needs some serious investment - the saving grace is the staff.”

“The main house, gardens and grounds were excellent and well maintained. Our room in the Mews was very large with french windows opening on to a shared patio, essential in this heat. There was no air conditioning, or fan and our phone in the room did not work. We were supplied with a faulty portable fan, but in the end the open doors provided enough cooling air. The shower was superb with enough hot water whenever we needed it. We could have done with a table and chairs to sit and organise……

“We booked this hotel because of air conditioning, however the ac wasn't strong enough under heat wave, it's a basic hotel, no fridge, close to shopping mall and restaurants but it's quite noisy as it's next to the main road.”
