“The cabin is nice, a little dated. The stairs going to the second floor are a bit challenging. The detatched studio is a bit cold for the winter stay. Overall nice location, clean and well stocked.”

“This is your typical Michigan cabin. It was clean, had everything you needed for cooking and relaxing. It is very quiet with woods everywhere. Great firepit. Very relaxing. It is close to towns, food and beaches. The fall colors were beautiful. We would book this again for great weekend getaway. If you are looking to be on the river with a dock, you have to walk a little distance. This is not on the river”

“We had numerous issues during our stay and it would take the host almost a full 24hrs to respond.1. I sent numerous requests for help with screen shots that the provided wifi password was incorrect. This was not a connectivity issue but the actual password being incorrect. Their 'help' was telling us that we shouldn't have issues since the local contact could connect. Thanks???2. Dryer was in a locked garage and the host didnt know the passcode. They sent us on a wild goose chase for a lock……

“1950s-60s style cottage — a cottage, not a house. Perfect feeing. Excellent location right on the lake. Clean and comfortable — except for the sofa. Could use a more comfortable sofa, but sometimes sofa beds can be like that.”

“Wonderful spot for our summer vacation! We loved rowing on the lake and hanging out by the campfire. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the many gathering spaces were beautiful and large enough for us to be together. We loved it here. ”

“We loved this location and house! We are a family of 4 and there were plenty of things for everyone to do. We loved the lake and how close we were to the dunes. The house was very well stocked with kitchen items. We used the kayaks and canoes and had no problem reaching the owner with any questions. We loved our stay and will be happy to stay again when we go back to Michigan. ”

“Our 2nd stay here. Listing is exactly as pictured and it provides all the beauty of nature at your fingertips with just enough creature comforts to relax after a fun filled day. The location is perfect for our favorite activities in the area: climbing the dunes, floating down the Platte river, discovering new area beaches, and breweries/restaurants are not far in Beulah/Honor/Frankfort! Fishing off of the dock was a family favorite this trip! The host was communicative and proactive in resolving……
